TheVoice – World Wide (Official Music Video)

The Voice was selected of DJ Erroganze’s radio session… Now is on the powerplay this month on bombay hott radio.

Artist: The voice

Many artists struggle to establish their musical identity, laboriously trying on different musical styles like a piece of clothing, looking to find what fits. But there are others that emerge fully formed, in full command of their craft, their identity and their music. TheVoice, a powerhouse Independent Hip Hop and Neo Soul Artist fits firmly in the latter category. Her latest collection of studio endeavors, a three track EP entitled World Wide, is a captivating and moving debut that heralds the arrival of a gifted and significant much needed talent, one whose music feels familiar in the best possible way, while striking out on its own territory.
“Hip hop is truth expressed… through the struggle,” TheVoice mused about her artistry. “Whether you express that truth through lyrics, dance, music, graffiti, language, literature, truth being: who you are, where you come from, what you believe, what you stand for, and what you can give back to the struggle.” – TheVoice
Hailing from Denver, TheVoice has previously had parallels drawn between her music and the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Lauryn Hill, J. Cole, Erykah Badu, Nas and Floetry. Her voice is the most vital element of her artistry, hence her moniker, and her songwriting style which incorporates rap, spoken word, and soulful singing into a beautifully constructed sonic tapestry quite unlike anything else in the music community today. Traversing themes of love, female empowerment, self-respect, and more, TheVoice’s music houses equally as eclectic themes as it does genres and styles.
Adding to her credits, she earned the opportunity to write and perform a nationally aired, Telly Award winning commercial for the Black Starz Channel entitled “The Black Experience” wherein she used her poetry skills to take viewers through the journey and plight of black Americans.
The registered ASCAP member has performed in many venues and festivals such as: Apex Sports Lounge, Passion4Arts Showcase, The Soiled Dove Underground, Cervantes, Herman’s Hideaway, Jazz@Jacks, The Shout Out, The Gypsy House, The Walnut Room, The Mercury Café, Root 40 Music Fest, Make Music Denver, Independent Records Music Day #5 to name a few.
TheVoice is also a mentor for budding artists in her local community, teaching hip hop and creative expression to the youth. As an emcee, songwriter, vocalist, music producer and record producer, TheVoice has defined not only what it means to be a dynamic artist, but what it means to be an empowering, uplifting woman in the industry.

Review of Sangeeta Wadhwani Coho Bohemia, the Bombay Artwalk in Worli with Alyque Padamsee, DJ Sin, 2Blue and many more

Coho Bohemia, the Bombay Artwalk, is a movement for people by people…essentially creative people though. A mix of singers, dancers, rappers, poets, authors, ranging from edgy and experimental to urbane know-it-alls, get together on a Saturday afternoon in a beautiful artspace to simply share and grow. Each ‘talent’ gets a 10 to 15 minute segment to share his or her passion and interact briefly with a live audience.
A movement established by an expat author, journalist and Bharat Natyam exponent called Janet Fine, about 15 years ago, it earlier entailed going from one gallery to the next, mostly in downtown Colaba and Kala Ghoda where galleries were walking distances from each other.  After Janet’s untimely demise in 2007, Coho too died a natural death. Sangeeta Wadhwani, a friend of Janets had a dream that reviving Coho could be fun. She called on all of the usual coterie that knew Janet and tried to reassemble the tradition. Only now, it got a notch better with professional sound and evolving talent.  The most recent Coho just took place on May 16 at Gallery Art and Soul, and featured performances from a variety of creative individuals. ..from theatre doyen Alyque Padamsee doing a POP UP workshop on appreciating Shakespeare “whose words should exist between the lips and the listener’s ear” to a soul renting presentation by Trublu aka Judas from the current production of Jesus Christ Superstar. DJ Sin got down to amusing and entertaining the audience with original rap recited with sitar exponent Kumar Madhusudan and tabla player Brijesh. Representatives from Giants International showcased their work building houses for rehabilitation post the Nepal earthquake and immediately raised enough to fund half a new bamboo, earthquake friendly house! And the mellifluous Vikram Malwankar and Aradhana of the Uttama Music Academy revisited a host of ghazals and movie classics. Young author Anjali Kirplani read from her new book Written In the Stars while fashion designer Arti Vijay Gupta presented an installation of her garments all featuring prints of miniature paintings from different ateliers in India.
All in all the magic of Coho continues wherever aesthetics,  music, the written word and theatre get to breathe and expand…! And yes when I the curator Sangeeta Wadhwani,  find enough space and time to assemble all…

YG Hits a Fan From Stage in Edmonton, Canada Concert @ Encore Club (2 Videos)

Footage Ensuing Riots
West Coast Rapper YG concert, Edmonton ( Alberta ). My Krazy Life tour Canada.
Yg concert lasted barely 20 mins then YG attacks a fan from stage.
Fan was angry because YG lost his voice (sore throat) at the very begining of the concert and went backstage.
YG lost his voice two songs into his set. Rather than own up to the fault, he first tried to get his DJ to raise the volume and mask his voice(as you can see in the video playing songs like “we dem boys” he doesn’t even relate to ). When that didn’t work, he resorted to throwing water bottles.

One of his fan was frustrated by his charade (not performing his own songs but instead playing other top songs and dancing around) so he started throwing ice cubes at him. YG scanned the crowed and when he figured out who was it he jumped right onto him from stage and punched the guy.
0:08 YG warned crowd don’t do it(don’t throw the ice cubes).
what else you can say Shit just got real.
after that errbody started tossing bottles or whatever was in their hand(ice, bowls, cans, water etc.)

YG also had fight with 4 guys in parking lot who were trying to break windows of his car.

I didn’t tape it all bc one of my friend fall victim to the flying bottle and blood was all over his face. We were dancing near to the stage and all the flying bottles were coming at us so we thought who cares for a damn video, protect your mf asses first lol.

Bickin Back Bein Booooeeedd lol

50 Cent Launches The “Formula 50″ Workout

Do you have 6 weeks to get fit? If you do, then Hip Hop mogul Curtis Jackson, aka 50 Cent, says he can help you make it happen.

First albums, movies, vitamin water, energy drinks, books and a clothing line. Now, the popular rapper has a “Formula 50″ workout video series, sharing his workout secrets with the world.

The award-winning artist, who’s just about always maintained a lean and muscular look, guarantees results, with his slogan that, “You’ll see your body improve by 50 percent.”

His fat burning cardio routine consists of 40 minutes of high intensity interval training (HIIT). HIIT utilizes repetitions to the point of muscular failure by alternating short bursts of high intensity work with periods of lower intensity intervals of active recovery. This process jumpstarts the metabolism, making it one of the fastest ways to reduce body fat. The American Council on Exercise recommends no more than two days of HIIT training per week.

Here’s a sample of 50′s weekly routine:

Monday: Chest, Shoulders, Triceps

Tuesday: Back, Biceps

Wednesday: Lower Body, HIIT Cardio

Thursday: Chest, Shoulders, Triceps

Friday: Back, Biceps

Saturday: Lower Body, HIIT Cardio

Sunday: Off

Cardio is also an important part of 50 Cent’s routine, more often than not he begins the day with intervals on the treadmill before hitting the weights.
