“9/11 was an Anglo-American black operation executed in collusion with Israeli Secret Services.” — 9/11 Investigator
Undoubtedly the 9/11 attacks on New York City and Washington DC are the most misrepresented by officialdom in US history.
Whereas the assassination of John F. Kennedy is now understood to have been a classic CIA Public Execution Plan, it does not come close to 9/11 in terms of the number and magnitude of outright falsehoods, misleading statements, fake science and fraudulent facts submitted by officials and agents of the US Government. The ‘official’ 9/11 Commission Report stands as the most fabricated document ever produced by US tax dollars. Not only did the investigation avoid every serious inquiry about how two steel frame building came down after being dustified in NYC, it also subverted every initiative to ferret out the truth.
That’s all about to change in 2014.
It appears that Russia has been conducting systematic data dumps on 9/11, the release of which represents more factual information on the attacks than any US Government source. In the wake of the Anglo-American coup d’état conducted by the CIA and MI6 in Kiev, it appears that Russia has no more patience for Western interference. Especially when nations are destabilized on Russia’s borders do the stakes in this highly consequential geopolitical chess match go up.
Since Vladimir Putin has no intention of starting World War 3, he can only respond to US-EU meddling by using asymmetric warfare on the internet. Were the American people to understand that elements within the US Federal Government were behind the 9/11 attacks , EVERYTHING would change in a heartbeat. Because the Obama Administration has shown no sign of aborting its planned takeover of the Ukraine, Russia is now left with fewer, but still quite potent options.
The following excerpt recently appeared on an alternative news website — Veterans Today — under the subtitle “Too Classified to Publish”. Essentially this unprecedented release of ultra-secret and highly classified information illustrates Putin’s new tack toward Western intractability. Simply put, Russia will no longer stand by idly while the Anglo-American Juggernaut projects it power wherever it so chooses.
TOO CLASSIFIED TO PUBLISH
According to a retired FXX agent specializing in Israeli counter intel: The type of nuclear devices used on 911 were a modified version of the W-54 nuclear artillery shells that were covertly provided to the Israelis between 1988 and 1998 from US surplus stockpiles illegally exported during the Bush/Clinton era.
Chemical analysis done by DOE Sandi was able to identify the chemical/radiation footprint or fingerprint of the warheads based on samples taken after 911 of the fallout at ground zero. (Editor’s note: Nuclear weapon use at ground zero is confirmed from multiple sources)
All plutonium based warheads have a chemical fingerprint that can identify the type of design and where the PU was made and how old it is. This was the 911 blackmail on Bush 1 and 2, the illegal transfer of surplus US nuclear weapons to the Israelis and why the continued cover up, along with the stolen gold and stock fraud that was going on Wall Street etc. According to file ENW57.pdf on page 66. (Editor’s note: Document received and confirmed)
Only a 2 kiloton device was needed to drop the buildings. A 2 kiloton device will produce a fireball of apx 150 to 200 feet in diameter at over 4000 degrees Centigrade. Just large enough to melt the I beams of the central core of the building and drop them in place. The light flash would last less than 1 second and primarily be in the UV light range. Overpressure would only be at 60PSI max and directed upwards with the blast. See underground effect.
Fallout would be minimal and located to within ground zero range only. Radiation would drop to acceptable levels within 72 hrs. after the blast. Most fall out was trapped in the cement dust thus causing all of the recent cancer deaths that we are now seeing in NYC amongst first responders. (Editor’s note: Consistent with site data)
High FluxIsotope Reactor Core – Cross Section
Melted steel and iron oxide or “nano thermite” is a byproduct of the very high gamma ray / Neutron flux induced into the central steel core. The radiation dissolves the steel into iron oxide consuming the carbon and silicone in the steel.
This explains the missing steel columns and the very important clue of the “vaporized’ 20 ton antenna tower atop the south tower. The upward blast of radiation literally vaporized it. Video evidence proves this to be true. (Editor’s note: Tower issue a vital one.)
The total XXOO data file from DOE Sandia on the 911 event is well over 72 MB. P.S. Snowden didn’t have a Q clearance so he missed this one. Carnaberry had a pretty good stash of documents on the subject. (All under the transit stuff.) The entire nuclear nonproliferation story of stolen nuclear material coming from Russia was an Israeli cover story to hide the original source of weapons material coming from the US stock piles. (Editor’s note: Fully confirmed)
Illegal distribution of US nuclear material to foreign allies was not limited to Israel. Virtually all NATO allies were in on this scam too. Dick Cheney was the bad guy on this one. Bush2/Cheney traded nuclear pits to foreign country as IOU’s in order to get what they wanted. Tom Countryman a well-known Israeli operative is curiously now in charge of N.N.P. at the State Department under Obama.(?) He was put there by Ram Emanuel.
Early Israeli core model – Vannunu photo
It appears that the weapon of choice for the Israelis were the W-54 and follow on series of nuclear pits taken from the Amarillo TX storage dump. This was what Carnaberry was working on for Bush senior in Houston.
A total of over 350 pits were transferred to the Israelis over a 10 to 20 year period of time. The W-54 type of pit design were the most desirable due to the 2 point implosion pit design. This is the easiest to re manufacture and modify as compared to other circular pit designs.
The pill shaped design of the W-54 type weapon contains over 1.5 times more plutonium than a standard pit. This would allow enough Plutonium to be recovered that was still of weapons grade use even after 32 plus years of age. Americium build up in the pit over time eventually makes the Pit unusable as a weapon so they have a limited shelf life based on how fast or slow the Plutonium was produce in the reactor at Stanford.
Usually it was about 150 days max. Irradiation time in the reactor during production determines the shelf life of the pit as weapons grade material. All of the micro nukes used by the Israelis are re-manufactured W-54 type series devices.
Khazelov confirmed this a micro nuke bombing
These devices were used in the Bali bombing and the London bombing and in Japan on their reactors. (Editor’s note: Nuclear weapon use in Bali confirmed) Also used in Damascus, Iraq and Afghanistan by the US. (Editor’s note: Multiple confirmation including site samples.)
These are stored in most Israelite embassies for ease of deployment. The one’s used on 911 were kept at the Israeli consulate in NYC until put in place. After 911 the FBI now checks all diplomatic pouches with a Geiger counter before entering or leaving the US. The South African weapons were also surplus W-54 artillery shells acquired from Israeli and final assembly and testing was done in South Africa with Israel assistance. (Editor’s note: This explains Pelendaba production issues.)
This was done because the Israelis needed a testing ground in order to make sure that there rebuilt weapons would work as designed. (Editor’s note: Testing on Sept. 22, 1979 multiple confirmations.) The North Korean weapons are also of the 155 mm artillery design as provided by Israel.
The true North Korean nuclear weapons program is based on nuclear artillery use and not missiles. The plan is to use a massive artillery barge on South Korea if war breaks out this include the use of small nuclear artillery shells to counter US tanks rockets and artillery.
The Saudi’s also have a stash of W-54′s acquired from the US under Bush2. (Editor’s note: Confirmed) The Israelis have also provided them to India, Brazil, China, Taiwan, Japan, North and South Korea etc. (Editor’s note: All but South Korea confirmed. Canada had been believed to be the source of Brazilian nuclear weapons.) Dimona is a standard 75 megawatt thermal open top reactor as used in France for their plutonium weapons production program, their version of Stanford (Editor’s note: Probably “Hanford”).
Dimona – Israel
Due to over use as a fast breeder reactor by the Israelis, Dimona suffered a “steam explosion” IE a flash over indecent due to neutron criticality back in the late 1980′s under Bush 1. This shut down its operation for many years until repairs could be made.
It know only operates at very low power levels due to neutron absorption damage to the containment vessel. Now mainly use for isotope production. This forced the Israelis to turn to stolen nuclear stock piles from the US for the continuation of their nuclear program.
The Israelis knowing that the nuclear material that they had acquire only had a limited shelf life left before it was no longer usable as weapons grade then tried to dump it on the surplus market as fast as possible before it was of no use to them. So they dumped it on unsuspecting nations who would only sit on it and not be able to test it. These were the fissile tests in North Korea. (Editor’s note: Confirmed, multiple sources)
When everybody caught on to the scam such as Japan and Korea. (IE the Korean sub sinkings etc) they were angry because they paid big bucks for junk. This started a mini cold war with Israel and her old clients. However with micro nukes even as the plutonium ages it will still fissile producing a smaller size detonation well under 2 kiloton in size.
So they can still be used as small dirty bombs or as very small tactical nukes such as the nuclear artillery strikes on Damascus with rocket assisted W-54′s. (Editor’s note: Confirmed strike, May 4, 2013) On the W-54 pit design it is pill shaped and it is only about 4 inches in diameter and weighs about 24 pounds.
Most of the fuel is consumed in the plasma fire ball when detonated so there is very little plutonium fallout left to escape. If it is salted with other materials the fallout can be even reduced to lower levels such as in an enhanced radiation device or the so called neutron bomb. This is what was used on 911.
Falling man – 911
The primary purpose of the nuclear weapon used on 911 was to produce a massive Gama ray / neutron flux that would vaporize about 150 to 300 feet of 6 inch thick steal I beams that constituted the central core of the WTC buildings. This created a free fall event as seen on TV that day. (Editor’s note: Critical information here.)
The flash would be hidden from sight due to the underground detonation. Most of the light was in the non-visible light spectrum any way. Over pressure would be reduced to 6 psi due to the blast traveling up the central core and neutron radiation vaporizing the TV antenna at the top of the building as see on TV.
The fallout would be mainly vaporized concrete cement and iron oxide. This is why after 911 they told everyone on TV that the beta radiation burns that people were getting were due to the caustic cement dust and not due to the radiation effects from the radioactive cement fallout. (Editor’s note: Fully confirmed)
The iron oxide found all over the place was what was left of the steel I beams. This was the so called Nano Thermite that was found everywhere. Fallout was limited to a 1 mile area around down town NYC. See charts. (Editor’s note: Received)
Radiation decay was reduced to safe low levels after 72 hrs., (Editor’s note: Fully confirmed) outside of ground zero its self. This is why the area was blocked off from the public for 3 days after the event, in order to let the radiation drop to safe levels.
Donald Sterling‘s tragic fall from “grace” has been as long, drawn out, and public as one could imagine, and it doesn’t appear it’ll go away any time soon. The NBA, and a large majority of its superstar players, are working actively to have Sterling removed officially as owner of the team (he’s already been banned from taking part in any basketball operations), and yesterday a report broke that Lebron James planned on boycotting the league for the 2014-2015 regular season if Sterling was still an NBA owner at its onset.
Today, UK news site Daily Mail reported details from more leaked conversations with Sterling: this time, a chat he had with his “long-time friend” Maserati. In the conversation, Daily Mail listed the many different topics that were brought up, and a large part of them are quite disturbing.
Donald Sterling taped during hour-long call to long-time friend Maserati
Sterling claims mistress V.Stiviano is the true racist, who hates being part-black and bleaches her skin every day
Moans how he has been brought down just because he ‘talked to a girl’ and told her ‘anything she wanted to hear’ just so he could ‘play with her’
Claims he’s not racist at all and ‘vast majority’ of white people don’t think about color – whereas black people do
Says having black basketball player and wife stay at his apartment proves he’s not racist
Says their sex was ‘hot’ even if it ‘took an hour to ‘get there’
Claims she turned up two months after they met at Super Bowl and told him ‘I’ve been thinking about you’ before she ‘did her thing’ in private room
Claims she blackmailed him: ‘She wanted more money… she told me she’d do anything to get what she wants or bring me down’
He claims her family are scared of her and she treats them ‘with the whip’
The article also alleges that conversations between Sterling and Maserati revealed Sterling reporting that every morning, Stiviano would get up and tell him she wishes she were white, in addition to the allegations of skin bleaching we included above.
Among his 99 other problems, Donald Sterling should probably try and keep better friends.

Indian inventions and discoveries have been instrumental in shaping the face of the current modern world. We picked up 20 such interesting findings out of a whole bunch that will make you go, “I didn’t know that”.
Buttons were first used in Mohenjo-daro for ornamental purpose rather than for fastening. They were first used in the Indus Valley Civilization by 2000 BCE.
Chess developed out of Chaturanga, which is an ancient strategy board game developed during the Gupta Empire in India around the 6th century AD. Now you know why Vishwanathan Anand is such a pro, rag rag me is tarah…
3. Prefabricated home and movable structure
In 16th century Mughal India, during the reign of Akbar, the first prefabricated & movable structures were invented.
Rulers were first used by the Indus Valley Civilization prior to 1500 BCE. Made of ivory, the rulers found during excavation, reveal the amazing accuracy of decimal subdivisions on it.
The word ‘Shampoo’ is derived from chāmpo (चाँपो). It was initially used as a head massage oil for the Nawabs of Bengal during the Mughal Empire around 1762. It evolved into shampoo over the years.
6. Snakes and Ladders
The game, Snakes & Ladders, was invented in India as a game of morals. Later it spread to England and eventually introduced in the USA by game pioneer Milton Bradley in 1943.
7. Cotton cultivation (We clothed the world, yay!)
The ancient Greeks used to wear animal skins and were not even aware of cotton. But Indians were sort of cool and started cultivating cotton during the 5th – 4th millennium BCE in the Indus Valley Civilization. The word spread to the Mediterranean and beyond and soon everyone was ordering one from Flipkart. Well, pretty much.
8. Fibonacci Numbers
9. Decimal System, Quadratic formula and Zero!
It was in 7th century CE when Brahmagupta found the first general formula for solving quadratic equations. The decimal system (or the Hindu number system), which was a precursor of the Arabic numeric system, was developed in India between the 1st and 6th centuries CE.
10. Suits Game
The popular game of cards originated from India & was known as Krida-patram (which literally means “painted rags for playing”).
11. Cataract Surgery
Indian physician Sushruta (6th century BCE) had the knowledge of performing cataract surgery. It spread to China from India. Greek scientists would visit India to get operations done and also to learn the nitty-gritties.
12. Diamond Mining
Worldwide, India was the only source of diamonds until the discovery of mines in Brazil in the 18th century. Almost 5000 years ago, diamonds were first recognized and mined in central India.
13. Water on Moon
ISRO’s Chandrayaan-1 made the startling discovery that our moon is not a dry ball of rocks. The discovery of lunar water is attributed to the Chandrayaan mission.
14. Radio/Wireless communication
We all know that Marconi received a Nobel Prize in Physics in 1909 for contribution to the development of wireless telegraphy. But the first public demonstration of radio waves for communication was made by Sir Jagdish Chandra Bose in 1895, two years prior to Marconi’s similar demonstration in England.
Sir Bose was posthumously credited (more than a century later) for his achievement. The fact remains that this discovery truly shaped the face of modern wireless communication.
15. Flush Toilets
Flush toilets were first used in the Indus Valley Civilization. These existed in most homes and were connected to a sophisticated sewage mechanism. The civilization was prominent in hydraulic engineering.
16. Binary Code
Binary numbers were first described by Pingala (c. 200 BC). Pingala is the traditional name of the author of the Chandaḥśāstra, the earliest known Sanskrit treatise on prosody.
Many ancient cultures and civilizations independently discovered and prepared ink for writing purposes. The source of carbon pigment used in Indian Ink (called musi) used in ancient India, was India. Since 4th century BC, the practice of writing with ink with a sharp pointed needle was common in South India.
18. Steel & Metal works
Ancient Indians were pioneers in metallurgy. High quality steel was produced, almost two thousand years before it was understood by the West. One of the most remarkable feat in metallurgy: creating a seamless celestial globe, was invented in Kashmir. It was earlier considered impossible to create a metal globe without seams.
So thanks to India, Iron Man can wear his suit now.
19. Fiber Optics
Named as one of the 7 ‘Unsung Heroes’ by Fortune Magazine, Dr. Narinder Singh Kapany, is widely recognized as the ‘Father of Fiber Optics’ for his pioneering work in Fiber Optics technology. Watch him speak eloquently on his entrepreneurial journey.
20. Plastic Surgery
Yes, you heard it right. Indians were pioneers in Plastic Surgery too. It was carried out in India as early as 2000 BCE.
So, we’ve always been a cool country. History is testimony to it. So what’s stopping you from being innovative? Go, win the world.

DAHANU: Fire tore through an Indian train full of sleeping passengers on Wednesday, killing nine people and forcing survivors to break open doors to escape, officials and a witness said.
The blaze raced through three carriages shortly after the train left Mumbai for the northern city of Dehradun. It comes less than a fortnight after 26 people were killed in a similar tragedy on India’s massive rail network.
“Nine people have died from the fire which spread to three coaches in the night. The fire broke out at about 2:30 am,” said Western Railway spokesman Sharat Chandrayan.
The fire started as the train was travelling through Thane district bordering Mumbai and spread through the three carriages before a guard at a railway station raised the alarm.
“The gateman at a railway station informed the guard inside the train,” Chandrayan said.
Railway police and forensic officers were poring over the charred carriages at Dahanu Road station to try to determine how the fire started, an AFP reporter said.
Five of the victims have been formally identified but more time was needed to name the remaining four because their bodies were so badly burnt, station master Anil Kumar Garg said.
Several people were treated for burns at a nearby hospital, a railway police official said.
The Mumbai-Dehradun Express continued on its journey later in the morning after the burnt-out carriages were detached.
Many passengers managed to escape from the blazing and smoke-filled coaches by breaking open the back doors, a survivor, Mehul, told news channel CNN-IBN, but he said others died of suffocation.
“All the windows and doors were sealed shut and the compartments were packed with smoke. Some escaped but those who couldn’t died because they couldn’t breathe,” Mehul told the channel.
Photos showed blackened and gutted carriage interiors, with only the metal frames of the berths remaining.
Railways Minister Mallikarjun Kharge ordered compensation for relatives of the victims and an enquiry into the incident, another Western Railway official said.
The families of the dead will receive 500,000 rupees (8,000 dollars) with the injured getting 50,000.
Last month a fire raced through a train carriage packed with sleeping passengers in the southeastern state of Andhra Pradesh, killing 26 people and forcing terrified passengers to smash windows in a bid to escape.
The poorly funded and accident-prone Indian rail network, one of the world’s largest, is still the main form of long-distance travel in the vast country.
The exit doors of Indian trains are customarily locked at night, while the carriage windows are covered with bars, making escape difficult.
These tragedies come a little over a year after another train accident also in the state of Andhra Pradesh killed 32 people and shone a spotlight on the rail network’s dismal safety record.
India’s worst rail accident was in 1981 when a train plunged into a river in the eastern state of Bihar, killing an estimated 800 people.
Many also die unlawfully crossing the tracks, which lack proper barriers and crossing points. An official report in 2012 found that 15,000 are killed this way in India every year — a figure the government described as a “massacre”.

She made the announcement on Twitter.
In November, she released her fourth album Matangi, which was ranked as the 10th best album of the year by TIME magazine.
Roc Nation is home to stars including Rihanna, Shakira, Wale, Meek Mill, and Kylie Minogue.
There have been violent clashes between opposition activists and police during Bangladesh’s general election, amid a boycott by the opposition.
At least 18 people were killed during Sunday’s polling. Dozens have died in the run-up to the election.
Scores of polling stations have been torched. Voting ended at 10:00 GMT and was said to be thin.
The opposition has boycotted the vote and called a two-day strike over what it termed a “scandalous farce”.
The trickle of voters never turned into the long queues Bangladeshi elections are known for. Voters who did turn up had no real choice, as the opposition was not taking part.
There was extra security at the few constituencies in Dhaka where voting did take place. But in more remote areas the fear of attacks left voters wary. In some places election officials did not turn up till late. And with the outcome of these polls all but certain, many felt voting would be futile.
As Bangladeshis wait for the same faces from the last government to form the next one, their real concern will remain the violence. Legitimacy will be the ruling party’s biggest headache, at home and abroad. The election leaves the political crisis exactly where it was before voting started. The key to any possible dialogue between the two rival political camps will hinge on what has so far remained elusive – compromise.
Results are expected to come in during the early hours of Monday morning.
However, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s Awami League is assured of victory, with government candidates already declared victors by default in many seats.
She had rejected opposition demands for her to step down and set up a neutral government to oversee the poll.
Widespread violence erupted across the country on Sunday.
Police opened fire as protesters tried to take over polling station in northern Rangpur district, killing two people. In Nilphamari district, police also fired on about two dozen protesters. Two people died.
In the opposition stronghold of Bogra, the police chief told AFP: “We’ve seen thousands of protesters attack polling booths and our personnel at a number of locations with Molotov cocktails.”
In Parbatipur, in the north, police chief Mokbul Hossain said: “We were forced to open fire after thousands of them attacked us with guns and small bombs.”
Media reported that more than 100 polling stations were torched overnight – adding to a similar number the night before.
Saila, a resident of Gaibandha, told the BBC in an email: “None of my family or myself have gone to cast our vote amid fear and violence. What is happening here is a one-party election and 90% of Bangladeshis are against it. The polling centres are deserted.”
One polling station in Dhaka’s Mirpur district recorded only 25 ballots out of 24,000 registered voters in the first two hours, AP reported.
Security is tight, with some 50,000 troops reportedly deployed around the country for the election.
But the BBC’s Mahfuz Sadique in Dhaka says that, given the arson attacks and attempts to steal ballot papers and despite the heavy police presence, voters were wary about how secure they would be in coming to the polling stations.
The opposition Bangladesh National Party (BNP) began a nationwide 48-hour strike on Saturday a day after its leader Khaleda Zia urged supporters to “completely boycott” what she called a “scandalous farce” of an election.
She accused the government of placing her under house arrest – something the authorities deny.
The two-day strike is only the latest in a string of protests by the BNP and its allies – including the Islamist Jamaat-e-Islami party – that has seen a blockade of roads, railways and waterways and the closure of shops, schools and offices.
The big question on the morning of 6 January will not be who won but rather, what will happen next?”
In the run-up to the polls, scores of opposition supporters died in police shootings and dozens of commuters were burnt to death by protesters throwing petrol bombs at strike-defying buses.
All elections since 1991 have been held under a neutral caretaker administration to ensure that voting is not fixed.
But the Awami League abolished the caretaker system in 2010, arguing that it was no longer necessary.
The government has insisted the BNP should take part in the polls within the existing constitutional framework.
Sheikh Hasina and Khaleda Zia – who are bitter political enemies – have alternated from government to opposition for most of the past two decades.

Pakistan’s former military ruler Pervez Musharraf has failed to appear in court for his trial on treason charges.
His lawyers told the court there was not enough security for him. His trial was postponed last week after reports a bomb was found on his route to court.
The treason charges relate to his decision in 2007 to suspend the constitution and impose emergency rule.
Mr Musharraf, 70, denies the charges and says all the accusations against him are politically motivated.
He is the first Pakistani former military ruler to face trial for treason. If found guilty, he could be sentenced to death or life in prison.
He also faces separate charges of murder and restricting the judiciary.
His lawyers told Wednesday’s hearing that more explosives had been found close to Mr Musharraf’s residence on the outskirts of Islamabad.
“He is unable to appear before the court because of security hazards,” his lawyer Ahmed Raza Kasuri said.
The court also heard one of Mr Musharraf’s lawyers, Anwar Mansoor, was recently attacked by a group of men in Lahore. Although he managed to escape unharmed, police refused to take his complaint seriously.
The defence team is arguing that Mr Musharraf cannot get a fair trial in Pakistan. Defence lawyer Anwar Mansoor said the current prime minister, Nawaz Sharif, “has a bias against” his client.
Mr Musharraf seized power from Mr Sharif in a coup in 1999. He remained president until 2008, when a democratically elected government forced him to resign.
He left the country soon afterwards to live in self-imposed exile in Dubai and London.
On his return to Pakistan in March 2013, Mr Musharraf hoped he could lead his party into elections, but was disqualified from standing and found himself fighting an array of charges relating to his time in power.
Correspondents says many Pakistanis believe Mr Sharif’s government is using the trial to divert attention from the problems the country is facing, including a struggling economy and continuing sectarian and other attacks.
On 24 December, Mr Musharraf’s lawyers said he could not appear in the courtroom because of a heightened security threat after explosives and weapons were found by the road along his route.
The court granted Mr Musharraf a one-off exemption from appearing.

MILAN—Automobili Lamborghini SpA Friday took the wraps off the Huracan LP 610-4, the Italian auto maker’s carbon-fiber and aluminum successor to the Gallardo that will compete in the small and increasingly crowded market for luxury sports cars.
A unit of Volkswagen AG VOW3.XE +1.10%‘s Audi NSU.XE -0.75% brand in Germany, Lamborghini faces growing competition from its European peers eager to profit from the growing demand for these high-performance cars priced at €100,000 ($138,000) or more, and for which the biggest markets include the U.S. and China.
“Extreme (cars are) growing in volume and price,” said PwC Autofacts analyst Michael Gartside. “People want more exclusivity. Something others don’t have.”
The exclusivity of cars such as the Huracan promises to be enhanced as regulators in major markets demand lower carbon-dioxide emissions; as an increasing number of models in the mass market come equipped with smaller engines or battery-powered systems, a car such as the Huracan, with a 5.2 liter V-10 engine capable of top speeds of over 200 miles an hour, will become ever more exotic by comparison.
The Huracan, the Spanish word for hurricane and named for a famous bull from Spanish bullfighting history, succeeds the Gallardo, Lamborghini’s most successful car that went out of production in November after 10 years.
When it arrives on the market next year, the Huracan will help Lamborghini in its efforts to fend off competition not only from traditional rival Ferrari, owned by Italy’s Fiat SpA, but also McLaren Automotive of the U.K., which this year launched its third model. It also competes with Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd., which is looking to expand its range after getting a cash infusion from a new shareholder.
Luxury sports car makers also need to contend with advances in technology that have the potential to reshape the market. The slick electric cars of Tesla Motors IncTSLA +5.48% , for example, have become an attractive alternative to gas-guzzling super cars.
Germany’s BMW AG could also slice into the market with its plug-in, carbon-fiber bodied i8 hybrid, which will be priced above $100,000.
The Huracan, for its part, has a carbon-fibre and aluminum chassis, and a new gasoline injection system that provides more power and torque with less fuel consumption.
The market which Lamborghini inhabits is small, with a combined total of some 15,000 super cars sold in 2012 in China, Europe and the U.S., according to auto industry research and analysis firm JATO Dynamics. Lamborghini sold 2,083 vehicles that year, with turnover reaching €469 million. Lamborghini cars sell between €150,000 and €300,000 on average. It has yet to disclose the price of the Huracan.
Despite its size, even this market has its limits to growth, according to Gareth Hession at JATO Dynamics. Luxury auto makers limit the number of cars they produce to preserve a sense of exclusivity, while the market can only accommodate so many brands, Mr. Hession said.
Lamborghini and other luxury car manufacturers are looking to expand into the lucrative realm of sport-utility vehicles, a segment that has been growing fast. Volkswagen recently approved the budget for its Bentley Motors unit to produce a SUV. Lamborghini has said it aims to introduce an SUV by 2017.
